This is my second 914 and it's very nice. It's garage kept the duration of the 8 years I've owned it and was my only car and daily driver for 5 years until I bought a second car. Engine has been completely rebuilt with OEM parts and made more powerful with the replacement of larger pistons and jugs. No rust underneath the car, nor in the floor pans. Even the typical, dreaded "hell hole" has no rust, nor the battery stand, just a little surface rust on the battery tray (typical and quick and easy repair/replacement, but still not bad as is). I have a detailed list of all mechanics serviced, documentation and receipts for everything available upon request (instead of filling up this space).

Mechanical work done by a well-known experienced local Porsche mechanic and 914 authority "Chief" at Pistons and Rotors, local 914 guru and well-known 914 World member "Dr." Phil Sparta (the Porsche doctor) know who had owned 18 914s and restored most, Overby's in Jacksonville, FL (exotic car dealer/shop) and Automobile Atlanta in Marietta, GA (914 specialists). I have receipts and documentation for all the new/rebuilt parts and services.

One rear engine lid arm bracket needs to be re-attached. I don't know how to re-attach it as I've never removed the engine lid before. Paint is in good shape save a few flaws from being a daily driver for many years. Outside of car was repainted the same, original color once prior to my ownership. Inside of car is original paint. The rear trunk PORSCHE reflector (which never came on the 914) will be sold separately. I also have the very nice all-chrome luggage rack that was a dealer option for the 914. If desired, both can be added to the sale of the car as options. Car is sitting pretty in my dry storage garage, covered and out of harmful elements.

Very nice 914 more than reasonably priced at $10.5K

Looks nice - is this a 1.8L or 2.0L car?

The engine is a 1.8 but during the engine rebuild, larger pistons were installed (96mm over the stock 94mm) and larger jugs for more horsepower. Now runs more like a 2.2.

I also have a 1974 LE Creamsicle (2.0), but with the larger pistons and jugs, my red car is a bit faster. I have all documentation and receipts for engine rebuild and all other work done. Thanks for looking!
By the way - I see you have a 1974 Sunflower Yellow! My first 914 was a 1974 Sunflower Yellow (see my signature)!
