At P914, we received some photographic submissions of various factory tools from a classic Porsche 911 owner in Germany. Of specific interest to the Porsche 914/6 community were pictures of two different 17x19mm DROP FORGED STEEL GERMANY wrenches, both from early factory 1970 Porsche 911 tool kits. With permission, these pictures are posted below.

It appears as though the wrenches were mis-stamped and then corrected. As there are at least two of these wrenches, it seems likely that an entire batch would have been run this way. Naturally, our questions are whether anyone else has one of these unique wrenches, and, if so, what year and model tool kit did it come in? Of course, our real interest is learning whether any oddball wrenches made it into factory Porsche 914/6 tool kits. :idk:
